This book is the true story of the author, who suffered Ulcerative Colitis for ten long years before having major surgery for an ileostomy.
This account takes the reader through the pain, the depression and humiliation of bowel complaints and then formation of a stoma.
It will be of great help to anyone who suffers a bowel complaint and for anyone living with or awaiting stoma surgery.
Throughout the book, Grahame's Christian faith shines through as he hangs on to his faith, even believing he may be healed and then the frustration that he wasn't.
It is not an evangelistic book where one is being 'preached at'. However, there is a chapter where the reader can find help with Christianity if they so wish to.
There is also a Carer's chapter written by the author's wife which some may find helpful.
It is more an inspiring read. An honest account of one man's struggle with Ulcerative Colitis.
and then having to live with a stoma.
The reader will find helpful hints to help in this area.
